At Bigham the Mover we offer comprehensive solutions to help make moving easier for senior citizens. Most moves for senior citizens require significant downsizing or relocation to a retirement home. During the downsizing process we are happy to move some of the furniture or other household items to our storage facility until a decision is made. Other options include donating items to Goodwill, Women’s Emergency Shelter, or the Salvation Army (prior arrangements with them to be certain they will accept your goods) or send them to a family member or a friend.
Our team can complete a full professional pack of all of your household belongings before the load date. Our team will move all furniture and belongings to the new residence on the moving date. We will place all belongs and furniture in the proper location, with direction from the customer. It is a good idea to prepare a floor plan or layout before the moving ate to ensure all furniture will fit in the location of your choice. We can also help set up all of your rooms to your liking and remove any clutter. Furniture and upholstery that need to be moved around or removed to make space, will be handled at the end of the unloading process.
Any items that we have to disassemble during the loading process with be reassembled at the new residence. After the move is complete, our staff can completely unpack boxes, with direction, put unpacked items in their proper location, hang pictures / mirrors and curtains. Empty boxes will be removed from the residence when unpacking and set-up is complete.
No move is too big or too small for us to help.
